The Kaduna State Police Command on Friday in Kaduna paraded 28 suspected criminals said to be involved in armed robbery, kidnappers, car snatching and rape.
Briefing newsmen, the new Commissioner of Police, CP Sanusi N. Lemu, explained that 15 of the number are suspected armed robbers, 7 kidnappers, 5 car snatchers and a rape suspect.

He assured the people of the state of the command's readiness not to relent in its fight against crime throughout the state.
He added, "Everyone should be extra-vigilant and report suspicious characters or movement in good time to the police or other security agencies for prompt action.
"We remain resolute, and will work tirelessly and creatively with good people to proactively prevent crime. We encourage the public to come up with any useful information they have no matter how minute or small they believe it is, because we will follow up on every lead or tip to overcome crime."
Meanwhile, the Police Public Relations Officer, Kaduna State Command, ASP Aliyu Usman, in a statement made available to newsmen in Kaduna, Friday, said the new Commissioner of Police, CP, Lemu took over the mantle of leadership as the Commissioner of Police Kaduna State Command on 28th July, 2016.
The statement added that until his appointment as the Commissioner of Police Kaduna State Command, he was the CP in-charge of Elections Monitoring, Federal Operations, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
