Leicester City visit Bangkok’s Grand Palace
English Premier League champions Leicester City paid a visit to Bangkok’s glittering Grand Palace on Thursday.
The team signed a well-wishes book for the country’s ageing monarch at the palace.
The club’s owner and his son led the newly crowned champions to pay respects to the king’s portrait and also present him with the trophy.
The squad, led by manager Claudio Ranieri and captain Wes Morgan, did not meet the king but gathered with thousands of mostly Chinese tourists who had come to see the palace.
The Thai king is the world’s longest-reigning monarch.
