President Kiir accuses UN of spear-heading regime change in S’Sudan
South Sudanese government has accused the United Nation of spear-heading a regime-change strategy to unseat President Silva Kiir.
The accusation followed the planned deployment of additional 4,000 troops to the country to end the crisis in world’s youngest nation.
The Sudanese government reacted angrily to the draft proposal seeking the approval of the fresh troop deployment, to provide security in Juba, and help in the implementation of the peace agreement in the country.
The UN deliberated on the draft and may pass it in order to deploy the troops to Juba.
