Yakubu Ahmodu, the Ejeh of Ankpa in Kogi State is dead. He died in his place on Monday at the age of 73.
A source said the monarch returned to Ankpa from Benin on Sunday where he attended the conference of Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs,but unfortunately passed away the following day.
Ahmodu ascended the throne on Aug. 7, 1993. He is survived by wives, children and grandchildren.
