W/African leaders pledge to support ECOWAS on growth
Leaders in West Africa have pledged to support the goals of ECOWAS in order to build a prosperous region for members of the community.
They made the pledge at the 41st anniversary celebration of the regional body in Abuja,Nigeria’s capital.
They are of the view that the relative peace and economic prosperity witnessed in West Africa has been influenced by the ECOWAS policy on free movement of persons and goods.
