Nigerian President urges Olympic Team to be good ambassador
As Team Nigeria depart the country for the 2016 Rio Olympics, President Muhammadu Buhari, has urged the athletes to be good ambassadors of the country and stay off doping during the Games.
A send forth reception was held for the team on Sunday at the National stadium in Abuja.
The team has been promised prompt payment pf their the camp allowances and other entitlements due to the athletes before the end of the games.
Nigeria is competing in eight events in Rio.
